A trip to Sequoia National Forest

Memorial Day weekend we went to Sequoia National Forest. On the way there we got to visit Charles Uncle Chuck and Aunt Mary in Clovis, CA. It was my first time meeting Aunt Mary and their first time meeting Zane.

Here are the boys standing by a Sequoia tree.
General Sherman is the largest tree on Earth. Its base is 102 feet around. It weighs 2.7 million pounds and is 274 feet tall. It was a sight to see. Boy, did we feel small.

My handsome boys by a creek in Sequoia.

We took the boys to an Angels game. It was Zane's first professional baseball game and he had a great time. Zach, of course always enjoys sports activities.
Grandpa Monchy came in April to watch Zach over Spring Break.

Thanks Grandpa!

Zach and Zane had a great time with Grandpa, after all he buys donuts every morning!!
